The Invictus Games were founded in 2014 by the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, to support the recovery and rehabilitation of wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans.
Birmingham 2027 will mark the first time the Games return to the UK since 2014, and it will be the eighth edition overall.
