Invictus Games Birmingham 2027 are proud to support the Access Card Scheme, a nationally recognised system from Nimbus Disability that simplifies access for visitors with additional needs.
You will need a free IG27 Digital Access Pass (DAP) or valid Access Card to purchase accessible tickets, and your IG27 DAP or Access Card number will be requested during the ticket booking process.
The scheme is open to applications from international visitors. Please note that NEC, BP Pulse Arena, Sandwell Aquatics Centre or any other DAPs previously applied for are not valid for Invictus Games Birmingham 2027.
Don’t forget to bring your Access Card or confirmation of your Digital Access Pass ID number on the day!

ACCESSIBLE TYPES OF TICKETS
Invictus Games Birmingham 2027 will offer a range of accessible tickets. Please see the table below for our range of tickets and the recommended symbols for our IG27 DAP or Access Card.
Eligibility is verified during the checkout process to protect accessible ticket availability and make sure that the correct tickets go to the people who need them.
Ticket type
Wheelchair Bay Seating
Description
For anyone using a wheelchair or mobility scooter, who wishes to stay seated in their wheelchair / mobility scooter during the event.
This seating may also be more appropriate for anyone who requires step free, Easy Access Seating.
Please also select wheelchair bay seating if you will be accompanied by an Assistance Dog.
Easy Access Seating
Easy access seating is typically up or down steps (an average of 13 steps) or at the end of an aisle within the main seating stands.
Please be aware if you are a wheelchair or mobility scooter user who wishes to transfer, there is an approximate average of 13 steps to reach Easy Access seats.
If you require step free accessible seating, are a wheelchair user who wishes to stay in their chair, or will be accompanied by an Assistance Dog, please select wheelchair bay seating.
Visual Impairment Seating
For spectators with a visual impairment, who would like to sit towards the front of the stand.
Hearing Impairment Seating
British Sign Language interpretation services will be available for Opening and Closing Ceremonies only.
Essential companion
Where required, complimentary essential companion tickets are available in line with our ticketing terms and conditions.
Essential companion tickets will be located as close as possible to the associated accessible seat.

BLUE BADGE PARKING
Accessible parking will be available at the NEC and a limited number of parking spaces at Sandwell Aquatics Centre. The facility to book this parking will be available closer to the event. Please register your interest for parking to be the first to receive updates on how to book when it is available.
ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES
A range of accessible facilities and services will be available at Birmingham 2027 Invictus Games. These will include Changing Places and accessible toilets, sensory spaces and mobility equipment hire.
