Where possible we encourage the use of public transport to access all of our venues. Parking will be available at the NEC and also a limited number of parking spaces at Sandwell Aquatics Centre. Accessible parking will be available at each venue.

NEC AND BP PULSE ARENA
By Train – The NEC is located a five-minute walk away from Birmingham International Railway Station.
By Bus – Multiple bus connections, both locally, and nationwide, are available and run daily.
By Bike – The best and safety way to get to the NEC is to use the shared cycle footpath route to Birmingham International Railway Station.
By Car – Located in the middle of the UK’s motorway network, the NEC is very well connected if arriving by car - use postcode B40 1NT. When arriving at the venue follow the internal road signage which will direct you to the correct car park for Invictus Games 2027. On-site car parking will be available to purchase.
By Taxi – TOA taxis provide a taxi service for the NEC with drop off points within the main NEC campus. App-based taxi services, such as Uber and Bolt, are also widely available across the region. Their pickup and drop off points may be a short walk away from the main campus.
Parking – Parking is available at the NEC. You can register your interest to receive parking information when it becomes available.

By Plane – The NEC is located right next to Birmingham Airport (BHX) with a free to use monorail linking the airport directly to the NEC.
SANDWELL AQUATICS CENTRE
By Train – There are a number of local train stations in close proximity to Sandwell Aquatic Centre; Smethwick Galton Bridge, Sandwell and Dudley, Smethwick Rolfe Street and Langley Green. It’s an approximate 25min walk from each of these stations to the venue.
By Bus – Multiple local buses are available in the area. If travelling from Birmingham city centre you can use the 12, 12A or 89 bus routes.
By Car – Sandwell Aquatics Centre is located to the West of Birmingham’s city centre and can be found using the postcode B67 7EW.
By Taxi – Many taxi companies operate in the area, including app-based taxi services, such as Uber and Bolt. Taxis will be able to drop off outside the venue but will not be permitted into the car park.
Parking – Based in a largely residential area Sandwell Aquatics Centre has a limited amount of car parking. You can register your interest to receive parking information when it becomes available.
