Invictus UK 2027 is a charity and delivery organisation for Invictus Games Birmingham 2027, taking place in July 2027 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) and Sandwell Aquatics Centre. Founded by The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, in 2014, the Invictus Games uses adaptive sport to support the recovery of Wounded, Injured, and Sick (WIS) service personnel and veterans.
Birmingham 2027 will bring together 550 competitors from 25 nations across 12 sports, including Archery, Athletics, Cycling, Esports, Indoor Rowing, Laser Run, Pickleball, Powerlifting, Sitting Volleyball, Swimming, Wheelchair Basketball, and Wheelchair Rugby.
The Games are about more than competition. Success is measured in every step forward, every challenge faced, every barrier overcome. Every throw, stride, and lift is a victory.
Our mission is to celebrate the unconquered spirit of WIS service personnel and veterans, deliver an outstanding Games, and create lasting social impact across Birmingham and the Midlands.
Through our Impact Programme, we will create recovery opportunities for thousands of WIS and their families, while delivering long-term benefits for Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Birmingham sits at the heart of this story, from life-saving care at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham to rehabilitation at the Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre and support at Fisher House, with many competitors returning to the place that supported them.

The role
We are looking for an experienced manager to join our fantastic team at Invictus UK 2027 and as part of our social impact strategy are keen to make some appointments from the Birmingham and West Midlands area.
In this role you will be responsible for Regional Stakeholder Management.
This role is pivotal in engaging with, informing and collaborating with key stakeholders in the public, private and charity sectors. This will primarily be enabled through the initiation and drive of a regional taskforce in collaboration with WMCA, WMGC, Birmingham City Council, UB22, Chamber of Commerce and others.
Based in our Birmingham office you will lead on stakeholder and engagement activity within Birmingham and the wider Midlands area, developing and delivering our stakeholder and engagement strategy with implementation through the taskforce structure. This is a high-impact role where your ability to build partnerships, communicate effectively and influence stakeholders will support the overall successful delivery of the Games.
The post holder will work across the organisation, working with the communications, commercial, impact, sustainability, sport competition, and operational delivery teams, acting as an interface between their work and key external stakeholders. Your ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and communicate with clarity to both internal and external stakeholders will be essential. Strong knowledge of Birmingham stakeholders is key for this role.

This is a full time, fixed term role to 30 September 2027.
The salary for this position is £50k per annum.
This role shall be based at our Birmingham office and flexible, hybrid working arrangements are available with the Organisation.

The role
We are looking for an experienced manager who can help us to deliver against a broad portfolio of social impact impact and social value projects, aligned to our Impact Strategy. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping, coordinating and delivering projects, and maximising opportunities, that create meaningful and measurable outcomes for the communities that matter to us. A hybrid role, but with frequent meetings and engagements in our Birmingham office expected.
In this role you will work closely with the Impact Director, supporting the delivery of social impact projects, ensuring delivery is aligned with contractual and/or grant requirements, and wider strategic objectives.
