Phil Batty is Chief Executive Officer of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026 and brings extensive experience in major event delivery and creating lasting social impact. He previously served as Director of Ceremonies, Culture and Queen's Baton Relay for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, helping to deliver one of the UK's largest sporting events. As former CEO of SKYMAGIC, he led the international expansion of the world-leading drone light show company, delivering major events across the globe. Phil has also held senior roles within the UK City of Culture programme and serves as a Board member of Spirit of 2012, bringing significant expertise in maximising the legacy and community impact of major sporting and cultural events.
