Joanna began her career in the business utilities and energy sectors, working in customer operations before progressing into analytical and management roles.

She later moved into education, working as a secondary school teacher, before transitioning into office and operations management within the construction industry.

In her current role as Office Manager and Governance Support for the Invictus Games, Joanna ensures the smooth running of office operations, supports organisational protocols, and works closely with the Board.

Alongside her professional career, Joanna is deeply committed to community sport and youth development. She coaches youth endurance runners, contributes to the organisation of local running events, and supports initiatives that encourage inclusive participation in physical activity.

Joanna is passionate about purposeful work and environments that empower people to perform at their best. An enthusiastic endurance runner herself, she is motivated by the spirit of resilience and determination embodied by the Invictus community.
