THE ROLE

We are looking for a Protocol Manager to join our fantastic team at Invictus UK 2027.   

Sitting within the Games Services delivery area, we are looking to appoint an experienced individual to lead the delivery of the protocol function of the 2027 Invictus Games.  This key role covers IPP & VIP management, hospitality operations and stakeholder relations. It is an essential and central element of the 2027 Invictus Games. 

The Protocol Manager will act as the central liaison between military and government officials, international delegations and their officials and the 2027 Invictus Games whilst providing a coordinated and effective end user experience.  The role will manage a team that will deliver numerous high-profile visitors set against an event with significant media coverage. Delivery must be flawless and coordinated in a manner that sympathetically reflects the Invictus Games and the needs of the competitors and their family and friends.  

Based in our Birmingham office you will work in close collaboration with the Family & Friends Lead, the Participating Nations Lead, Operations team and wider Invictus Games Birmingham 2027 team.

This is a full time, fixed term role to 31 July 2027.

The salary for this position is £50,000 per annum.

This role shall be based at our Birmingham office and flexible, hybrid working arrangements are available with the Organisation.
