Job Advert: Contracts and Procurement Manager
Invictus UK 2027 is a charity and delivery organisation for the 2027 Invictus Games at the NEC Birmingham; with a comprehensive strategic and collaborative programme of impact & legacy activities rolled out from summer 2025.
Our Games will bring together Wounded, Injured and Sick Serving Personnel, Veterans and families from 25+ Nations; supporting their recovery journeys and celebrating resilience, community and the unconquered human spirit.
The Contracts and Procurement Manager will lead all procurement and contract activities for Invictus Games Birmingham 2027, ensuring legal compliance, value for money, and effective supplier performance. Reporting to the CEO and working with the Director’s team, the role requires strong experience managing complex procurement processes, ideally in major events or high-profile projects.
A strategic mindset, deep knowledge of UK procurement law, and experience in not-for-profit or charity contexts are highly desirable. This is a flexible, hybrid role with time in Birmingham expected, especially in the final year before the Games.

Job Advert: Head of Communications and Engagement

We’re looking for a talented and strategic Head of Communications and Engagement to shape and lead our communications approach. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll work closely with the senior team and agency partners to craft compelling messaging and drive engagement across all platforms.
You’ll oversee media, PR, internal comms and digital strategy, ensuring the Games’ story is told with impact and integrity. With 8+ years' experience in comms (ideally within sport or military sectors), you’ll bring strong leadership, stakeholder management, and crisis comms expertise.
This hybrid role requires regular time in Birmingham and London.

Job Advert: Operations Director
Invictus UK 2027 is a charity and delivery organisation for the 2027 Invictus Games at the NEC Birmingham; with a comprehensive strategic and collaborative programme of impact & legacy activities rolled out from summer 2025.
Our Games will bring together Wounded, Injured and Sick Serving Personnel, Veterans and families from 25+ Nations; supporting their recovery journeys and celebrating resilience, community and the unconquered human spirit.
The Operations Director will have significant experience (at least 8 years) in the planning and delivery of major international sporting events. They will be responsible for the ensuring the successful and safe operational delivery of the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027. This includes ensuring that the hosting requirements and service levels set by the Invictus Games Foundation are met, and that all key contracts with the host venues, local authorities and key delivery contractors are managed effectively. The Invictus Games Birmingham will implement a new delivery model, and the Operations Director will be required to take an efficient and innovative approach to event operations.
This role offers flexible, hybrid working conditions. The Operations Director will be required to spend a significant amount of time in Birmingham, particularly in the 12 months before the Games (which takes place in July 2027). Great terms and conditions for the right candidates

The Business Manager will be responsible for effective delivery of corporate services within Invictus UK 2027 and for the associated legacy and impact activities. They will support the organisation with procurement, contract management and liaising with colleagues across an organisation to track and report outcomes and KPIs; and manage key aspects of internal corporate services including the IT contract.

We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join us and manage our office admin, reporting in to the Senior Leadership Team and playing your role in ensuring that we deliver an amazing week of Games and impact and legacy programmes in the run up to and after.
This role can be located in London, Birmingham or could be home based with some travel.
